Evaluating from the builder’s Perspective

Introduction

As communities recover from devastating wildfires, residents living in both affected and surrounding areas face higher risk of flooding and landslides. Wildfires can drastically change the terrain and make the ground less able to absorb water. Even areas that do not typically flood are now at risk for flash flooding and mudflows for up to five years after a wildfire.

This one-hour program walks through the statutes, laws and precedent that govern these claims and illustrates case studies from recent events that have standardized many outcomes.

Webinar

PFCS technical consultants Deborah Murray and Alex Prokop presented the “Fire, Flood & Landslide Claims” webinar most recently on Sept. 19, 2019.
